q       Who is eligible for membership?

The following persons are eligible for:

• Ordinary Membership
  - Nurses who are registered with the South African Nursing Council.
  - Medical Practitioners, Clinical Technologists, Dieticians or any other professionals registered with
    the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
  - Social Workers registered with the Council for Associated Social Workers.

• Associate Membership
  - Any person with an interest in renal care, who is a professional person, or is employed by a  
    commercial company.
   

• Affiliated Membership
  - Individuals who have the same interest and qualifications as ordinary members, but who resides 
    outside of South Africa.

Membership Benefits

• Membership of the Society entitles you to the following:

• Free subscription to RCSSA Newsletter.

• Reduced registration fees for educational and scientific programs/congresses.

• Eligibility to vote in RCSSA national elections.

• Eligibility to be an office bearer on the Executive Committee.

• Opportunity to apply for RCSSA bursaries and grants.

• Eligible for nomination for Renal Care Society Achievement Award.
